As someone who tutored for EMS in the past, I would like to say to anyone out there reading this that the experience was truly fantastic. Tutoring really gave me a better feel for what teaching in the inner-city is like, and the many unique challenges that students face in this type of environment. I would encourage anyone who is considering tutoring to take the great opportunity to help those that are in need.
